Cardi B has confirmed that she and Offset have split up again amid fresh claims of infidelity.
In a recent Instagram live session, the WAP rapper said she doesn’t believe her now-estranged husband cheated on her with rapper Chrisean Rock.
However, she also mentioned that she doesn’t care to find out the truth, emphasising that she’s been single for a while.
Cardi, 31, hinted that issues between her and Offset, also 31, had been ongoing. Despite this, she expressed excitement for a fresh start in the upcoming year, saying, “I want to start 2024 fresh, open. I’m curious for a new life, a new beginning. I’m excited.”
Rapper Blueface, who welcomed a baby boy with Crisean this year, claimed on Twitter that Offset slept with the new mum while still married to Cardi. Offset vehemently denied the allegations, saying, “I ain’t never talk [to] or touch that lady.”
Cardi and Offset sparked breakup rumors last week when they unfollowed each other on social media. Cardi fuelled speculation with cryptic messages about prioritising herself and outgrowing relationships.
Offset recently performed at an Art Basel party without Cardi in attendance, bringing his mother as his date.
The couple, parents to daughter Kulture, 5, and two-year-old son Wave, first exchanged vows in 2017.
Despite announcing their split in 2018 and subsequently reconciling, Cardi B filed for divorce in September 2020, a move they later reversed.
Their relationship faced a public test in June of this year when Offset accused Cardi B of infidelity in a now-deleted Instagram Story. A Twitter Space conversation ensued, with Cardi B responding through song and stern words directed at Offset.
Despite the ups and downs, the couple collaborated on the single Jealousy a month after Offset’s accusations. The cover art, featuring Cardi B turning away from Offset, hinted at their relationship dynamics.
Celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary in September, Offset showered Cardi B with elaborate displays of affection, adorning their home with bouquets and candles.
Meanwhile, Crisean, 23, recently removed her neck tattoo of Bluface.
The rapper, who has six tattoos of her baby’s father, transformed one tattoo of his face into a rose and shared the results on Instagram.
Shortly after, she debuted a new tattoo of her boyfriend K Suave’s name on her arm.
