More than 150 people including celebrities and two former US Presidents have been revealed as associates of accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and law professor Alan Dershowitz are among notable names listed in documents which have been unsealed as part of a settlement between alleged victim Virginia Giuffre and Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, according to Forbes.
Politicians Al Gore and Donald Trump and Hollywood actors Cate Blanchett, Naomi Campbell, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bruce Willis are also among those named.
Some were frequent guests of Epstein, while others had limited connections, all now facing renewed scrutiny. All individuals listed have vehemently denied any allegations of wrongdoing.
This release includes hundreds of pages from a lawsuit linked to Jeffrey Epstein, with more documents expected to be unsealed in the coming weeks. The materials, involving nearly 200 names, encompass Epstein’s accusers, prominent business figures, politicians, and more.
While the first batch of documents did not reveal bombshell revelations, they mark the initial set to be released through legal channels. Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorneys maintained her innocence in a statement, emphasizing her consistent denial of any wrongdoing.
The released documents feature excerpts from depositions of Maxwell and Virginia Roberts Giuffre, shedding light on incidents surrounding Epstein. A deposition from Johanna Sjoberg, detailing Prince Andrew’s inappropriate behavior, is included, along with references to Bill Clinton.
Prince Andrew and Virginia Giuffre had previously settled her sexual abuse lawsuit out of court, with Andrew denying the allegations. Sjoberg’s deposition reveals Epstein’s comments about Clinton liking young girls.
In another deposition, Sjoberg recounts a plane journey with Epstein where they considered contacting Donald Trump for a casino visit. However, Trump is not accused of any wrongdoing in the released documents.
Giuffre’s deposition alleges Maxwell directed her to have sexual contact with various individuals, including Bill Richardson, Prince Andrew, Marvin Minsky, Jean-Luc Brunel, and Glenn Dubin. Some of these figures have refuted the allegations against them.
While certain victims’ names remain redacted due to the sensitive nature of the crimes, the unsealed documents offer a deeper insight into the web of associations surrounding Epstein.
