Mai House Saigon Hotel: A Luxurious Retreat in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City (Review)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mai House Saigon Hotel in Vietnam after a smooth and relatively short eight-hour red-eye flight from Melbourne on VietJet Air. The experience was exceptional from start to finish, offering a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury.

Arrival and First Impressions
The hotel’s French-Indochinese design immediately transports you to a bygone era of elegance. The welcoming staff exemplifies gracious hospitality, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The lobby’s ambiance, adorned with bespoke art collections, sets a sophisticated tone for the stay. The mixed berry-flavoured welcome drinks added a nice touch.

Accommodation
Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. The decor, a mix of colonial charm and contemporary amenities, provided a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. The plush bedding and thoughtful touches, like a welcome fruit platter and high-quality toiletries, made the room feel like a home away from home.

Dining
Dining at Mai House is a culinary delight. C’est La Vie Restaurant offers a delectable fusion of French and Vietnamese cuisine, with generous portions perfect for sharing. The breakfast buffet is extensive, featuring everything from traditional pho to freshly baked pastries.
