Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has addressed a so-called “leaked contract” that allegedly detailed the timeline for the end of his relationship with global superstar Taylor Swift.
The document, which spread like wildfire on social media, claims to have been created by Los Angeles-based firm Full Scope and outlines a supposed plan for Kelce and Swift to announce their breakup on September 28.
The paperwork describes a carefully orchestrated strategy where the pair would release a “gracious and respectful” statement, emphasising mutual respect and their commitment to personal growth.
The script for the announcement reportedly read: “Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time. They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.”
However, Kelce’s representatives were quick to shut down the claims, stating that the document is entirely false.
“There are no plans to split later this month,” a spokesperson for Kelce said.

“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.”
Full Scope, the firm at the centre of the controversy, also issued a firm denial.
“These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued, or authorized by this agency,” a representative said.
While the agency has involved their legal team, they admitted that finding the perpetrator may be a challenge.
The rumor mill hasn’t slowed down, with many speculating on the authenticity of celebrity relationships. Jack Ketosyan, who is part of the team representing Kelce at Full Scope, has previously admitted to orchestrating “showmances” for promotional purposes.
“It’s to be able to sell the hype of it – whether a concert, album… or getting people to go see the movie, it’s all about the hype at the moment,” Ketosyan said in a 2019 podcast interview.
Despite past accusations, there is no evidence to suggest that Kelce and Swift’s relationship is anything but genuine.
The high-profile romance between Kelce and Swift was confirmed in September 2023, but the sparks started flying much earlier.
According to Kelce, he first tried to connect with Swift during her Eras Tour over the summer, but his initial efforts to deliver a friendship bracelet fell flat.
Undeterred, Kelce invited the pop star to a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium, where their connection truly began to blossom. As their relationship gained momentum, reports even surfaced that Swift was sneaking into stadiums incognito to support Kelce before they went public.
