Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce, showcased his affectionate side as he accidentally revealed his nickname for pop sensation Taylor Swift during the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce.
In the podcast released on Wednesday, Kelce, 34, affectionately referred to his Grammy-winning girlfriend as “Tay” after receiving praise from his brother for becoming the fastest tight end to reach 11,000 receiving yards.
Jason highlighted Swift’s support, noting that she had “liked” the Chiefs’ Instagram post celebrating Kelce’s achievement.
“Thanks, Tay,” Kelce expressed his gratitude on the podcast. “I appreciate you on the Chiefs page supporting.”

While Kelce remained coy when asked about Swift’s interest in tight end stats, he did share a heartwarming encounter with a young Swiftie at a recent game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Although Kelce has been discreet about his relationship with the “Shake It Off” singer, he recently opened up in a WSJ. Magazine cover story, describing the experience of being around Swift as “mind-blowing” and emphasizing the learning he gains from her.
Their public romance, which began garnering attention in September, took a more official turn in October when they were spotted holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty. Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, shared on “Good Morning America” that her son is “embracing” the newfound attention as he enjoys the limelight.
The couple’s journey has been marked by public appearances, including Kelce joining Swift in Argentina for one of her Eras Tour shows, where they were captured dancing together. The football player previously revealed that he invited Swift to one of his games after witnessing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour in July.
