Sean “Diddy” Combs Accused of Sexual Assault, Drugging by Second Woman

1

Hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman he allegedly drugged on a date back in 1991, according to another bombshell lawsuit filed in a Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday.

The filing, brought by former Syracuse University student Joi Dickerson-Neal, claims Combs, 54, assaulted her after they had dinner at Wells Restaurant in Harlem and he invited her back to his studio, Insider reported.

The lawsuit contends that the drug Combs allegedly gave Dickerson-Neal rendered her physically incapacitated, unable to walk or stand independently.

The complaint further alleges Combs filmed the attack and showed it to “everyone” afterwards.

The case is one of the final lawsuits initiated under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which allows victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file civil lawsuits even if the statute of limitations has expired.

It comes after Combs settled a rape and sexual assault case, brought by his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura one week ago.

Both lawsuits fall under the purview of the Adult Survivors Act, with Thursday serving as the deadline for filing cases under this statute.

Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, who has represented the likes of convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein, called the allegations “made up and not credible,” adding the move is “purely a money grab”, according to CNN.

“This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned on its head,” the spokesperson said. “Mr. Combs never assaulted her, and she implicates companies that did not exist.”

According to the complaint, Combs invited Dickerson-Neal on a date in 1991 while she was studying psychology at Syracuse University. After a meal at a Harlem restaurant where she worked, Combs drove her to a music studio. Dickerson-Neal claims in the lawsuit that she believes Combs drugged her during the meal, leading to physical incapacitation when she tried to leave the car.

The alleged assault took place at a house, where Combs reportedly sexually assaulted her, filming the incident and sharing the footage with others. Dickerson-Neal contends that she spiraled into depression after the incident, resulting in her withdrawal and eventual departure from college.

In her lawsuit, Dickerson-Neal is seeking unspecified damages. Combs’ legal team has yet to make a statement on the matter.
