Swift Aid: Taylor Swift Donates $5 Million for Hurricane Helene and Milton Relief

Taylor Swift has pledged a significant $5 million USD donation to support recovery efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The funds will go towards rebuilding and providing essential aid to communities heavily impacted by the storms.

The non-profit organisation Feeding America confirmed the donation through a statement shared by its CEO, Babineaux-Fontenot, on social media.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts,” the statement read.

“This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water, and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms. Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead. Thank you, Taylor, for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and for helping communities in need.”

Swift has a history of charitable giving, particularly when it comes to aiding victims of natural disasters. Last December, she donated $1 million to assist with recovery after severe storms battered Tennessee.

Earlier this year, she also donated $100,000 to the family of a woman tragically killed during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade.

In addition to these donations, Swift has been quietly supporting food banks across the cities visited during her record-breaking “Eras Tour.”

Beneficiaries included the Edinburgh Food Project and the Arizona Food Bank Network. The pop star also made headlines for distributing over $55 million in bonuses to her tour crew, including dancers, riggers, sound technicians, and catering staff.

Following a brief break, Swift is set to resume her “Eras Tour” later this month. The remaining leg will see her perform across North America, with stops in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis before wrapping up in Canada with shows in Toronto and Vancouver.
