“Devastated”: Jennifer Aniston and Friends Co-Stars Speak Out After Matthew Perry’s Death

The world is in mourning following the sudden and tragic passing of beloved Jennifer Aniston actor Matthew Perry and his Friends co-stars have now shared their heartbreak in a statement.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer paid tribute to their late costar Jennifer Aniston and friend in a statement to People magazine on Tuesday.

“We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family,” their statement reads. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

“In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”

The message was signed by Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc and Schwimmer.

It comes after Perry’s family expressed their heartbreak at the loss of their son and brother, who brought joy to millions.

His family has released a statement in the wake of his untimely death, addressing both the suddenness of their loss and the outpouring of love they have received from his fans and friends. They told TMZ, “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding Perry’s death is ongoing. So far, insiders say Jennifer Aniston he was discovered unresponsive in the hot tub at his Los Angeles home, and while the exact cause of death is still being determined, no foul play is suspected, and no illicit drugs were found at the scene.

Members of Perry’s family, including his parents, Suzanne Morrison and John Bennett Perry, were on the scene shortly after his passing. His stepfather, Keith Morrison, was also present, navigating the emotional scene as the family came together to grieve.

Perry’s parents had separated when he was young, and his mother, Suzanne, later married Keith Morrison, with whom she had several children, including three daughters and one son, who are Perry’s half-siblings. Keith Morrison also has a son from a previous marriage. Despite the family’s complex dynamics, they displayed a united front as they coped with the loss of Perry.

The late actor rose to fame with his iconic role as Chandler Bing for 10 years on the hit ’90s sitcom Friends.

First responders rushed to the scene in response to a call for cardiac arrest on Saturday, and it was determined that Perry appeared to have drowned. He was discovered in a jacuzzi on his property, although the exact location within the grounds remains undisclosed.

While Friends was undoubtedly Perry’s most significant claim to fame, he also left a mark on the world of television with his appearances in various other shows, including Beverly Hills, 90210 and Ally McBeal.

Throughout his career, he showcased his remarkable talent, earning a special place in the hearts of his fans.

Perry’s untimely death at age 54 has left a void in the entertainment industry, and the world mourns the loss of a talented actor who brought laughter and joy to countless lives. His family and fans alike are left grappling with the shock of his sudden departure.
